Advanced Open Water Diver

Advanced Open Water Diver is usually the next step after open water certification.  The course is designed to give students a taste and introduction to environments other than what they experienced during their open water training.  We at HiTek Scuba highly encourage this course as a way to discover some of the types of diving that the individual diver might like to pursue in their continuing open water adventures.  When a diver signs up for advanced this is usually the period where the diver begins to assemble and fine tune their own equipment for their diving style.

The course is made up of five open water dives and two classroom sessions.  Depending on what adventure dives the students choose as electives will also determine whether there is a pool session involved.  HiTek Scuba advanced class consists of a navigation, deep, night, and two elective dives.  All of the dives are conducted in cold water, usually the Puget Sound.

Prerequisites are Open Water Diver AND some cold water diving experience.

Course Cost is $275 and includes all materials, the class time, the open water dives, tanks and air fills.  By this point in a divers training it is important that students begin to obtain (rentals are available) their own equipment.
