Summer Brings Growth
As in most things there is both good and not
so good. Summer means lots of warm weather, good news for wetsuit
divers. No more 40 degree raining surface intervals to deal with.
Not so good however is the steady increase of plankton growth that the sunny
weather will bring to our local dive sites. Good news though, just like the
plankton, HiTek Scuba is
growing at an ever increasing rate. We now offer classes at more
facilities than ever with new pools and classes being added all the time,
especially on the west side (Beaverton area).

More HiTek Trekks Planned
Summer is the time to take off and head for
an adventure. HiTek Scuba is planning several guided adventures this
summer all over the northwest. The best time to head out to the Oregon
Coast is in the summer months. The seas are far more predictable and even
though the visibility might not be amazing, diving the coast is a wonderfully
wild experience that every NW diver should seek out.

End of Summer River Cleanup
Every year HiTek Scuba works with the
Clackamas River Basin Council, SOLV, eNRG Kayaking, PSU Outdoor program, All
Star Rafting, and others to help clean up the Clackamas river from it's heavy
summer use. It's time to clean up the environment and give back to the
waterways that make the place we call home so amazing. Learn more
about this annual event, and come join us.
